EASTER EGG HUNT and OPEN HOUSE

Please be our guest... the Ashland Area YMCA will be holding its first Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 22, 2008 from 12:00 - 5:00 PM. Join us to make this event a huge success!

We will also be having games and inflatables in the Youth Gym. For the adults we will be having an Open House and Health Fair.

Volunteers are desperately needed to help make this event a huge success. If you are interested in volunteering for the Easter Egg Hunt or working Easter games for the children please give me a call or email. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. If your company would like to donate items to put in the Easter bags that each child receives, please let me know.

OPEN HOUSE AND HEALTH FAIR

In conjunction with "PHASE ONE ASHLAND" the City of Ashland's initiative to develop a healthier community we will hosting an Open House at the YMCA on Saturday, March 22nd from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

During the Open House we will have tours available, class demonstrations, refreshments, door prizes (including a Family Health Center membership valued at $562), inflatables, KDMC will be available with Health Screenings and Boyd County Health Department will be available for information on children's health and nutrition.

Come on out and join us for a day full of events.

TRADITIONAL EASTER EGG HUNT

The Ashland Area YMCA will be holding an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 22nd beginning at 12:00 PM. The Hunt is for ages 2-10 and parents must remain at the YMCA. This is not a drop-off event. You are responsible for your own child. Children ages 2-4 will hunt at 12:00 PM, ages 5-7 will hunt at 12:45 PM and ages 8-10 will hunt at 1:30 PM. The Hunt will be held outside (weather permitting) so dress accordingly.

Registration fees are a little different for this event. The fees are either one dozen plastic Easter Eggs, one large bag of candy or prizes or $2 so we may purchase the items. Registrations must be received by Tuesday, March 18th.

UNDERWATER EASTER EGG HUNT

"Some Bunny put eggs in our pool!"

With a little twist on the traditional Easter Egg Hunt we will be having an Easter Egg Hunt in the pool for ages 5-10. Participants must take a water safety test and a swim test prior to diving for eggs. Must be comfortable in deep water. Bring your own goggles. All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Ages 5-7 will hunt at 2:00 PM and ages 8-10 will hunt at 2:30 PM.

Registration is the same as for the Traditional Easter Egg Hunt and must also be received by Tuesday, March 18th.
