The YMCA Child Care program is a year round state certified pre-school program that offers age specific class curriculum during the school year (Aug-May). Our school year begins in August relative to the start of Ashland Independent schools. YMCA Child Care is a State of Kentucky licensed Day Care and Pre-School program. The YMCA Child Care is proud to include SWIM LESSONS by our certified lifeguards year round Monday - Thursday for children age 2 and up who are completely potty trained.
The following forms are required at the time of registration:
- child's immunization
- physical
- child's birth certificate.
All children are registered full time status (5 days per week), fees are pre-paid at the beginning of each week.

There is a late fee charge of $1 per minute that a child is picked up after 5:30 p.m. |

The YMCA After School program is perfect for working parents. When your child arrives at the Y, they will be assisted with their homework by the staff, have structured free play, arts/crafts, and snack time. Buses from Hager and Poage will deliver your child to the Y.
TIME: 2:45PM-6:00PM

| Nursery Child Care Program |
Our nursery is open Monday thru Friday and loaded with toys and games for children ages 3 months to 4 years of age. There are separate play areas for infants and for toddlers. Parents are required to supply their child's needs. (i.e. diapers, bottle, snacks and drinks)

The Youth Adventure Playroom is located on the 2nd floor beside the Racquetball Courts and is available for children ages 4 to 7 years of age while the parent is in the facility.
Children must be signed in and out with the attendant on duty.
**Weather permitting and at the attendant’s discretion, the Outdoor Playground may be used instead of the Youth Adventure Playroom.**
